Image Navigator

The Immuno Concepts’ Image Navigator^® is an automated FDA-cleared fluorescent microscope that captures and analyzes images of Immuno Concepts’ IFA slides. From slide preparation on one of many pipetting options, the Image Navigator automatically receives worklists through bidirectional communication to help minimize technologist involvement beyond making correct and confident decisions when the microscope is done scanning. No need for middleware.

The empathetic design removes the subjectivity of manual reading by enhancing the user’s ability and support in reporting. The fluorescent microscope itself can be used independently of the Image Navigator software for help with other microscopy needs in your lab and the justification of purchase.

GFMD will provide a comprehensive IFA automation workflow analysis to determine the most efficient method to process Immuno Concepts’ IFA slides using either DAS or AFT pipetting instruments with the Image Navigator^®.

The true optic image capture allows the intelligent software to focus through and around air bubbles and debris.

One efficient place for all the controls to be quickly verified in “grid view”.

Potentially negative samples are batched together for easy confirmation. For ANA testing specifically this can be 60-80% of routine results in a screening session.

Any “grid view” sample throughout the software can be double clicked and viewed in panorama.

Potentially positive samples are viewed in a single well format for ease of interpretation and assistance with titer recommendations.

Optional use of ICAP nomenclature for recording results.

If you process titers, all titer wells from one patient will be displayed in grid view on the same screen. PAL assistance and screening image recall are both available to help correctly identify titer patterns.

Zoom without pixelation thanks to true imaging from a functional microscope. User can even send captured images to Immuno Concepts Technical Support for further sample interpretation assistance.

Allow our pattern assistant (PAL) to help you determine the right pattern. Using guided pattern recognition and suggestion, the user can compare the patient image to overlayed atlas images to ensure the correct interpretation. The software will even suggest patterns commonly confused with the one the technologist may have originally incorrectly chosen to investigate. Mixed patterns? No problem.
